Description:

SUU’s Aviation Department is seeking a social media assistant to help manage and respond to messages through social media. Your job will be to answer questions about the aviation program and to persuade aviation students to attend SUU. Your hours will be flexible and a background in aviation is strongly preferred. You will gain real-world marketing experience and your role will substantially impact the university and lead to students attending SUU’s Aviation programs.

Qualifications:

• Current Aviation student

• Good writing skills

• Persuasive writing

• Personable

• Personal experience on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram

• Willingness to learn

Strongly Preferred qualifications:

• Study or experience in marketing, communications, English, or other related fields.

• Professional experience on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram

• Familiarity with TikTok is encouraged, but not required

• Personal or professional experience on LinkedIn

• A track record of self-taught or proactive learning

• Familiarity with social media and sales funnels

• Strong desire to read and learn the skill of persuasive writing
